Beginning its global rollout on 2023-10-31, the Windows11 23H2 update introduced support for Emoji 15.0 to the flat versions of the Fluent emoji design set used by the OS since its November 2021 update.

This update also redesigned a selection of emojis within the flat Fluent set. These redesigns include many smiley emojis having the size and positioning of their dotted black pupils subtly modified, the 🙏 Folded Hands being shown isometrically, the 👽 Alien changed from grey to green once again, and the previously atypical width of the vendor's four-person family emoji designs being revised.

Additionally, a bug appears to have swapped the designs of the various 🧏‍♂️ Deaf Man and 🧏‍♀️ Deaf Woman emojis.
