Dashing Away

A cartoon-styled gust of air. Depicted as a small, gray cloud with motion lines, rushing to the left.

Resembles briffits, a stylized cloud of dust used in comics and animation to indicate someone or something has dashed away (e.g., leaving someone in the dust).

May be used to represent speed, smoking, and various types of wind, blown or broken. May precede other emoji, such as ๐ŸƒRunner or ๐Ÿš— Automobile, to indicate something is fast or fleeing: ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ’จ, ๐Ÿš—๐Ÿ’จ.

Not to be confused ๐ŸŒฌ๏ธ Wind Face, though their applications may overlap.

Dashing Away was approved as part of Unicode 6.0 in 2010 under the name "Dash Symbol" and added to Emoji 1.0 in 2015.
