🛠️ Latest Draft Emojis
Emoji 15.1 is a set of emoji recommendations due to be made in September 2023, alongside the release of Unicode 15.1.
As with 2019's Emoji 12.1 and 2020's Emoji 13.1, any emojis recommended within Emoji 15.1 will be new sequences combining existing emoji characters from up to September 2022's Emoji 15.0.
As of January 2023, there are several hundred provisional emoji candidates for Emoji 15.1, with the majority of these focused on providing directionality options to existing emojis.
Any provisional candidate that is approved for final release would come to major platforms in 2024.
